I am sure that I am not the only one looking to increase traffic to my blog. Any one who is looking to make money on the internet is going to be in the same boat that I am in.
It doesn’t matter how much traffic you already get, or none at all; there are always ways to make it better. Without traffic we are not likely to get any sales, and greed is a powerful motivator. I’m not saying that I’m greedy, at least not more so than average, but I am always looking to increase traffic to my blog. Mostly I am looking to use different methods of driving traffic so that my blog makes a steady income. I figure that I have a better chance at accomplishing that with using different methods. That way I am not counting on just one.
One of the easiest ways to increase traffic to my blog is to make regular posts on it. If I keep my blog current I attract the spiders from the search engines, and they are more likely to pull up my blog that way. I also read and comment on blogs that are in the same niche as mine, and I occasionally quote a piece from another one. That gives me a trackback link on the blog I quoted. A trackback link simply means that they let the other person know that I quoted their blog and leaves a link to my blog on theirs. It’s super easy if you find something that relates to your topic and it’s free to use.
Articles are another way to increase traffic to my blog. These are usually free to most article directories. Again, if I do it regularly I increase my chances of someone clicking on the link to my pages. Articles are also something that keeps working as well. After I get a certain number of articles written I can count on a certain amount of traffic from them. Granted, it usually takes somewhere around one hundred to accomplish this, but after they are written and published they keep on working for me. That’s a great way to increase traffic to my blog and keep it steady in the long run as well.
Posting my link on my Facebook wall is another easy way to increase traffic to my blog. By doing this it allows all my friends access to my link. You would be surprised how many people will click on it just to see what I wrote about. I also add the link in the email signature on all my outgoing emails no matter who I am sending them too.
There are many, many ways to increase traffic to my blog. I listed a couple above, but there are more. You could actually get a couple different ways going without too much trouble at all. Some of them will be free and there are a couple different things you would have to pay for, but there are options. You just have to pick the ones you can do.
